Douglas Diamond:

Mr. Diamond has over 30 years of financial advisory and investment experience, of which the last twenty-five have concentrated in identifying, evaluating, financing, operating and/or monitoring small growth and middle market companies. Currently, he serves as the CEO of Octane5 International, LLC.

Mr. Diamond joined Grubb & Williams, Ltd., an Atlanta-based merchant bank, as a Director in May 1988. In 1995, he and his partners founded Equity~South Advisors, LLC as the general partner of an Atlanta-based private equity fund. In addition to his investment and portfolio management responsibilities, Mr. Diamond has also served as the financial advisor and senior executive for numerous portfolio companies and other businesses.

Prior to joining the firm, he served with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Atlanta, GA. He is a past director of American Screen Art, Inc.,, CARSTAR, Inc., LoyaltyWorks, Inc., and VisAer, Inc. He is is a director of the Southern Capital Forum. Mr. Diamond graduated with a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and is a CPA.

 

Michael Dunn:

Michael H. Dunn has served as the CEO and Chairman of various manufacturing and technology enterprises for the past twenty five years. Mr. Dunn's experience has spanned multiple industries, and various corporate situations ranging from leveraged buyouts and management turnarounds to leading a public company that was eventually sold to a Fortune 500 company. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Octane5 International, LLC.

During his 40 year career, Mr. Dunn has acquired, led, and grown a number of middle market companies, each enjoying or achieving a market leadership position through innovation and a firm foundation in strategic, operational and manufacturing excellence.

Mr. Dunn’s career highlights include:

Served as CEO of PolyVision Corporation (14 years), the world's leader in visual communication and collaborative technologies. During that time, the company grew through a series of strategic acquisitions and the introduction of innovative and market leading new products that led to PolyVision's revenue and profit growth. Annual revenues were in excess of $180M.

Served as CEO of Alliance International Group (10 years), the worlds leading producer of advanced ceramic steel products used in the manufacture of architectural, transportation, education and office products. Led the company through a leveraged management buyout and delivered its stakeholders compound annual returns in excess of 35%.

Mr. Dunn holds 5 patents awarded for innovation in the areas of collaborative technologies and visual communications systems.
